How do I go about being hired as a group fitness instructor even though I have no experience?

I’m getting certified in March per my trainers suggestion. I really want to do group fitness and have for a long time but I didn’t study a health related field in school. I’m worried that I won’t be hired anywhere because of my lack of experience.

well you dont necessarily need a degree but it would vastly improve your chances of employment and salary. good luck.

Put your name down for cover if a gym needs a Group instructor they will call you. They always need cover and that will help you get a foot in the door. Start networking ask your course provider if they know of anyone who you can shadow during classes. And do some hours for them with out pay they will always be happy for a helping hand..
