How frequent do I need to practice a week to improve my fitness?

Shehab asked: I want to improve my fitness . Now I can run from 2 to 4 kilometer but I want to reach 20 kilometers . CAN SOMEBODY POST A TRAINING PLAN ? I hope training sessions doesn't exceeds 2 times a week.
